workaround

1. A workaround is a method, sometimes used temporarily, for achieving a task or goal when the usual or planned method isn't working. In information technology, a workaround is often used to overcome hardware, programming, or communication problems. Once a problem is fixed, a workaround is usually abandoned.

workaround means alternative, or unconventional ways to achieve original objective.

examples:
1. 如果没带钥匙，爬窗 is a workaround to get into the house.
2. 走后门 is a workaround for 走不通前门。

work around能否做动词，好象觉得有时候和get around没啥区别

most of time it's used as a noun, I don't remember seeing any case it's used as a verb.
