不过我一直认为这样的翻译不能表达出两者的含义

我这是看到这样的翻译,第一次看到时,糊里糊涂的,始终想"桩"是什么意思..
"框架"是什么意思...

好像是直译的,金山词霸就是这样翻译的...
一般看书的时侯还没深入之前,看到这些新名字,都顾名思议,所以呢最好翻译得贴切一点,表达出真正的意思,比较方便阅读,勉得糊里糊涂..呵~~~

翻译成什么不是特别重要，关键翻译后面最好有一段解释，或者举例类比，
以便能让读者产生比较直观的理解。

譬如几十年前，“巧克力”（chocalate）这个名字根本无法让人顾名思义，
但你只要吃一回就一辈子也忘不了了。

That's one thing I don't understand. People try to translate everything into Chinese. Took me a while to figure out what 包裹，字符串，etc. means.
why can't you just leave those terms in English?
