1: make the rounds

2: you bet

Are there any pre-Information-Age abbreviations still making the rounds in this high-tech era?You bet.

3: hold one's own (我翻译为“保持自己的特色”)
But "Internet" is holding its own,it part by borrowing words from older technologies and giving them new meaning, such as "bookmark","copy " and "browser".

4: mind one's business(我翻译为“别多管闲事”)

help me translate it

1. make the round.
it means someone keeps on come back to the same location over and over. this usually describe someone patrol some area, who keeps walking in loops.

For example, a security guard patrol some office building, during one night, he may walk through each floor several times, and so the phrase of "make the round". Similarly, a patrol squad that patrol the perimeter of a military base is literally walking in circles, or making the rounds.

In the sentence of info-age abbreviations, it's meaning is more like visit.

2. you bet
aother way to say "absolutely" or "positive", to express your certainty.

4. "Mind your own business" is in jin shang dictionary. you have it right.
