sandbox是不是只是指某个应用程序的源码目录结构？
in action类似于实用手册？
in a nutshell实在猜不出来了。。

in a nutshell,in action都是在书名中出现的多，这几个词的含义不难理解，问题是如何翻译成贴切的汉字就不容易了。in action按书籍名称来翻译，理解成“实战”如何？不是经常有“XXXX实战”的书籍以此命名吗。in a nutshell可以对应到汉语的“ 一言以蔽之”，但是作为书名取什么好呢。tier3，你是附带搞翻译的？

sandbox一般翻译成“沙箱“、"沙盒"，
指java applet只能在客户机系统的一个小型的、严格约束的sandbox区域之内运行（或者进行许可的访问）。sanbox让Java applet可以得到远高于ActiveX之类非sandbox技术所具有的安全性。同时，技术通过防止applet在其划定的区域以外运行而有效地削弱了小程序的强大功能。

以下是一些最严格的沙盒限制：小程序不能读取或者写入客户端系统上的文件；小程序不能启动客户端系统上的任何程序；小程序只能读取客户端系统有限的属性；还有，小程序只能同它被下载的主机建立网络连接等。

注意：要让小程序逃脱沙盒的束缚也是有办法的，不过你必须让这样的小程序成为“可信任”小程序，方法是为其赋予自己的数字签名，也就是防伪造的数字ID。在小程序被下载或被执行之前，用户必须信任该小程序，当然，这取决于你的数字ID人家认不认。

Hmm... I thought I replied already, looks like I didn't finish my writing and then the machine died on me.

Anyway, here is US, there are a lot of children playground, most of them have a sandbox, just dig a big shallow hole, surround it with wood beams, and put in sand. Children love them, they do all nasty things inside. Parents just watch outside. Now this word is borrowed in here with the same meaning. You can do nasty testing there without any responsibility, a testing ground.

nutshell is just a shell, no extension, no interaction, kind of dry. So java in a nutshell won't talk about design patterns, OO, won't tell you swing thread either. So 无废话 is pretty good. 简明教程 is close, but not exact.

实战 is good for "in action".
