2.1节（30页）作者用的标题是“Talking the talk”，行文带有幽默感。虽然与技术无关，但是却是很有用的一句话。出自Walk the walk，talk the talk。是俚语，新闻报刊里也常用，意思与汉语的语序颠倒，我理解为“说到，做到”，一些文章里用“说说”、“做做”、“知行合一”来解释。另一个变化用法是Walk the talk。一般字典里还查不到，至少我没有查到。文章里的意思可以理解，但是合适的中文我还不能确切的说出来。

书中有七处用到kluge一词，对应的中文不好找，英汉大词典的解释用在此处也很牵强，用“拼凑（方案）”如何，英文释义（参考encarta dictionary）如下：patched solution, a makeshift combination of hardware and software put together to solve a computing problem, that, while effective, is usually inelegant and not suitable for manufacture.

Talking about something is one thing, doing it is a different thing. In general, this means it's easier to talk about it than doing it, or talking about it and doing it are quite different(largely because a lot of details are omitted.).
There is an old saying, "In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice;in practice, there is". More or less along the same line.

kluge出处：
第一处：（在2.3.1标题中） The Web—a never-ending kluge
第二处：（page 38）Since there are so many obstaclesto writing robust web applications, using a framework is vital, lest your application become an endless series of workarounds and kluges.
第三处：（page 39）Java web application frameworks like Struts build on the servlet platform and try to provide developers with a seamless,kluge-free environment.
第四处：（page 43）While there are ways to simulate pushing data to a web client, they go against the grain and could be considered a kluge.
第五处：（page 229）Be sure to study the design of the Scaffold BaseAction before you kluge two Actions together.
第六处：（page 504）Of course, technically, passing the business bean straight through to the page is a kluge.
有了这么多用法，意思也明白了。web应用还没有固定的整体解决方案，于是各形成了种技术、产品的组合（“拼凑”）以求达到最佳效果，kluge(或者kludge)也就成了很合适的词来描述这种办法了。

I think all of these have the same meaning - start something, and then keep patching it. 拼凑 is a verb, 组合 is not quite right since there is a sense of patching.

Thanks, man. 14 years. I learned english mainly in playing games and talking on bbs. Everyone can do it if he is in my shoes, just practicing and reading.
