最近刚开始看Ajax in Action。其中1.1.2的Network Latency的有一段看不太懂，请看过的人帮忙翻译一下，谢谢。

Having to do all that extra work to traverse the network is often enough to slow
down a system such that the delay becomes noticeable. In a desktop application,
we need to make bad usability design decisions to make the application feel buggy or unresponsive, but in a networked application, we can get all that for free!

那些多余的网络间的往返通常会使系统变得很慢（能够察觉到的慢）。在桌面程序里，我们需要在做了糟糕的决定之后才会使程序变得不反映或出毛病，但是在与网络有关的程序中，我们不需要不这样做就能使程序变得不反映或出毛病。
