I don't know how to translate "sweet spot".
In sports, the "sweet spot" is an area on the bat (baseball) or racket (tennis) or club (golf) that will give out the most power; with hi-fi, it's the best listening location; etc.

In baseball, If one (擊球手) hits the "sweet spot", s/he could "knock the ball out of the park" (指 打出全壘打).

IOW, it's not just "help", but perhaps "help in the best way", "right on target"...
