晚间消息，甲骨文公司(ORCL)宣布，将以每股9.50美元，总计74亿美元现金的价格收购太阳微系统公司(JAVA)。

此项交易价格较太阳公司股票上周五6.69美元的收盘价溢价42%，即2.81美元。

甲骨文表示，扣除太阳公司的现金与债务后，此项交易价值56亿美元。

国际商用机器公司(IBM)此前曾报价每股9.40美元收购太阳公司，但本月早些时候，在太阳公司取消IBM的独家谈判权之后，双方之间的交易谈判破裂。

甲骨文表示，此项交易完成后第一年内将使其调整后每股盈利增加至少15美分。

此项交易已获得太阳公司董事会的批准。甲骨文预计此项交易将于今年夏天完成。

mysql 估计会成为Oracle Lite，来对抗 MS SQL Server等。GlassFish成为Weblogic Lite，来对抗Jboss等。NetBeans也不好说，Oracle已经有了JDeveloper和BEA的workshop，有不少未知数。

我倒希望是 微软来收购sun ,,,,现在越来越觉的微软是个nb的企业

I guess the implications for most developers are next time we will go to oracle's website to download JAVA, as opposed to java.sun.com
