I think you should learn two both, because struts is a request-based framework, and JSF is a component-based framework.

Struts is the most easy, should learn this first.

直接学JSF吧,我从2004年到现在都一直在使用JSF,用它开发效率会高一些.当然,虽然说JSF是组件化,但吃透它还是要些时间.例如JSF+Facelets的结合,JSF+EJB3.0的直接编程等.

Struts老化了,用它,不如不用.
必竞JSF是标准,都纳入了JavaEE的规范,目前最好的两个JSF实现,Sun JSF RI 1.2已随JavaEE 5.0发布(虽然没最终Released),Myface发布1.3之后,目前正在加快实现JSF1.2的规范中....值得期待.
连Apache的Struts团队,都在开发及实现一个以JSF为基础的Web Frameworkd,叫Shale-Struts.
