The following comes from the apache jakarta news:

17 October 2004 - Tapestry 3.0.1 Released
Tapestry 3.0.1 is now available. This is a maintenance release, fixing a few problems that could not wait for Tapestry 3.1.

Pages are linked to the active request cycle before finishLoad() is invoked
Fix for a NullPointerException inside ValidationDelegate
Add a public implementation of ITemplateParserDelegate
Fix Palette to clear the selected list when no selection are made
Allow pages and components to be abstract even when no properties are specified
Allow informal parameters on the Shell component
Add a clearErrors() method to IValidationDelegate
Add a PopupLinkRenderer to the contrib library
