The phone comes in two different Chinese versions. The T630 will be used also for Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan, while the T628 will be used for mainland China. The only difference between these Chinese versions is that they support different languages and input methods. Both versions contain a Lunar calendar and support the predictive text input method T9. The T628 will be launched for the Chinese market in Q4 2003, and the T630 will be available in Q1 2004 for the Americas and EMEA.
