Q. What is Java?
A:
1) Java is a beautiful island in Indonesia.
2) Java is another name for coffee, since coffee produced in Java, Indonesia is good!
3) Java is also a programming language was invented by Sun's programmers when they drank too much coffee. Smile The language was called Oak, but it had a trademark conflict, then they renamed it as Java. See here: Sun's official history

据说是java开发组开发完java后，去一个咖啡馆喝咖啡，正好喝的是一种名叫瓜哇的咖啡，所以就叫java
但是还有另外一种意思，那就是先苦后甜的意思。

It is a pretty popular Asian people gathering place for Coffee and Tea, run by some Chinese IT professionals. Smile You see tha lady in the picture looks pretty Assian. Smile
