2.x支持JSP 1.2/Servlet 2.3，最新版本2.1.12
3.X支持JSP 2.0/Servlet 2.4，最新版本3.0.6
3.03不需要许可证
3.04开始需要许可证

Jute 要求AppServer支持Servlet 2.3，Resin 2.0以上都支持。所以2.x都可以。 Resin3.0开始支持Servlet 2.4，目前Jute还未使用2.4 API，因为Servlet 2.4本身还未定稿。如果用3.X，最好用3.0.6。
