期待JUTE成熟到把JIVE比下去…：)

我上週有稍微安裝了JUTE，發現蠻親善的。
但用轉碼軟體把*.jsp的gb字轉big 5後，部分功能就有些問題了。

大慨過陣子才有時間仔細研究jute 的結構了。
不知道對於BIG 5之支援如何？如果有解決方案就太好了，
要不，或可我未來對JUTE 的貢獻！！ Smile

或可請大蝦們指點除了把*.jsp的 gb轉為big 5外，
還有哪些地方該注意？

Huh? Embedded words and sentences in the code? No, not good.

What if we are going to use traditional chinese, or english, or french?
We should build this from ground up. Otherwise, it's a pain.
Y2K, currency, language. We are having a lot of problems here. Just can't resolve it! Nobody dare to touch code built in 30 years ago with only english.

Yah, I agree with you.
What I can image for a better soluation is that we may create a SKIN Table
or File include some column such as "id locale sentence...".
All we have to do is to maintain the Table so that we can shange to a different Locale smoothly.

Every time when someone need to establish Jute Forum with different Locale, he/she may just need to change the initial param.

But, do you know what's the solution of those experts breaking their heads for the development of JUTE? : )

hehe, tt's hardly an expert solution, but just data mapping, like
english word "name" maps to chinese word "(in Chinese) name".

But all content should be seperated from the logic(debug msgs are different). I have properties files for different locales.

Really, so you mean that Jute can solve the LOCALE problem already?
