我以前一直认为Adapter要安装在A、B上（即Adapter Configuration）
Enterprise Server装在C，所有配置在C上完成，有关Adapter的设置会由Enterprise同步到Adapter上（如Notification设置）。
是我想得这样吗？我看的文档上的介绍较少
1. actually you can, but not directly, say, you create a common operation that has a JDBC operation (from JDBC adapter), do some lookup stuff, and use it on an integration component, and this integration component uses the results from common operation and map to IDoc and publish to SAP with ALE server operation from SAP adapter
2. Adapter can be installed on any separate machine, adapter config is simply a tool you use to create and configure your adapter and connect to a broker server (where your enterprise server resides), therefore the adapter process runs in JVM on its local machine, and connects to the remote broker server in pub/sub mode (JMS). Once adapter connects to broker server, registers with broker server with document types it can subscribe or publish based on client group the adapter belongs to.
There is no much info in the documentation, therefore, refer to www.wmusers.com or webMethods Advantage forums.
