Dear Excelsior JET Mailing List Subscriber,

We are pleased to inform you that Excelsior JET 3.11, Standard and
Professional Editions are immediately available for purchase.

Version 3.11 is an important update focused on application deployment
facilities and compatibility (see below for details.)

Upgrades will be shipped to eligible customers by the end of April.
As usual, you may freely download the Personal Edition for your
private, non-commercial use.

EXCELSIOR JET 3.11 IS AVAILABLE

New features in v3.11:

- Full support for the latest J2SE 1.3.x and 1.4.x microversions

- JIT cache optimization - applications that extensively use
custom classloaders may now be pre-compiled entirely with the JET
ahead-of-time compiler

- New customizable Excelsior Installer utility for JET-compiled
applications and NT services

- New full-featured JetPackII deployment automation tool supporting
Excelsior Installer and facilitating the use of third-party
installation products

Improvements over previous versions:

- Improved performance

- Smaller executables

- Important stability improvements and bug-fixes
