nope, Hibernate has dependency on other libraries.
It's ehcache http://ehcache.sourceforge.net/
check whether you have ehcache-1.1.jar (bundled with Hibernate 3.1.x)

谢谢，问题已经解决。自己太粗心了！

顺便跟大家提一下，再用MyEclipse添加Hibernate框架时，默认并不添加hibernate的支持包。请大家记得选上，否则一定会出我这样的错误。
