我一直在用tomcat，虽然很标准，更新也很快，但总有些类似找不到WEB-INF中的类的小毛病，有些挠头。听说SUN的iPlanet（现在应该叫SUN ONE了吧）是tomcat的标准实现，但总归没有用过，不知道王婆的瓜究竟甜不甜Embaressed。因此，特请教iPlanet、WebSphere、WebLogic、Apusic等等这些WEB服务器的优缺点。多谢！

iPlanet 我用过，是APPLICATION SERVER，但它的JSP，SERVLET 引擎是很强大的，属于很企业级。

Dump websphere, use weblogic. Others are between these two.

I am using websphere since its version 2, using weblogic since its earliest version.

I just hate IBM style because they are not flexible, so I do have some bias.
Be aware.

企业级应用中主要以weblogic与websphere为主，这两者都支持j2ee，功能强大，当然费用也就不低啦!

目前企业应用都是weblogic和websphere，国内的由于人家已经占领了市场，所以不可能成为主流了，weblogic对标准更新的支持反映更快点，毕竟bea专门做中间件的，个人认为weblogic比websphere好！

Not necessarily, unless you use ws standard version to compare to weblogic enterprise version. They all have discounts.

我觉得用jboss+tomcat比较理想，现在jboss越来越流行

如果是开发的话，你可以试试Macromedia JRUN 4，这套Application Server还是不错的。

I think resin is the best,now 3.0 version is out!

我用过WEBLOGIC，十分好用，功能区较强大，而且维护方便

Correct me if I am wrong. Never use Tomcat for production, it's the reference implementation, not for production purpose. You may use it for testing and development. iPlanet, websphere, weblogic, or resin are fine(opt for production, etc).

1 既然讨论的是web server，什么weblogic websphere的，都靠边站
2 忘记Tomcat
3 首选Resin
4 没有选择，自己开发。Big Smile

企业级应用还是weblogic好些。
小一些的应用，学习，测试用resin

If just count the numbers in production, I bet Tomcat will be the number one. Tomcat is fine for light production.

*sigh*, that's why I posted there. You can do something, that doesn't mean you just go ahead and do it. Do it once, maybe it's ok(if you are lucky), then doing it many times is just way out of line.

weblogic,websphere,sun one application server 个有千秋
weblogic,websphere的资料多些，界面更有好些，操作更简单些。
SUN OEN APPLICATION SERVER 7中有了很多改善，如果配以SUN ONE STUDIO 4来开发J2EE项目更是方便，而且是免费的，但要求机器性能高。
选择那种方式开发是根据你对那种方式的熟练（仅供参考）
