Overview

This 2-day instructor-led, Web-based overview course helps prepare integration developers, architects, and foundation resource developers for their roles within their enterprise integration teams. The course introduces the concepts, motivation, and development-related issues behind business processes and enterprise integration, as well as the capabilities of BEA WebLogic Integration for mitigating enterprise integration issues.

Topics include the automation and management of business processes; the integration of Enterprise Information Systems, J2EE application components, and business-to-business trading partners; and the benefits of implementing integration solutions with the open standards-based BEA WebLogic Integration toolset.

Throughout the course, the instructor will provide feature demonstrations building toward an end-to-end integration.

BEA's online course delivery sessions consist of an optimal mix of online lectures, product demonstrations, and live question/answer sessions.

Individuals responsible for directly implementing enterprise integration solutions may use this overview as the foundation for the follow-on instructor-led classroom course: Business Process Management with BEA WebLogic Integration 7.0 (WLI-B11-70).
