2. There are several different models in the iteration models, depends on the steps you want to include or exclude. They have different efficiencies. The most commonly used as far as I know is the circle without requirements and design(move them out).
3. In my view, RUP is messed up by the round trip engineering.
4. One thing that I really dislike is: our Chinese always quote some sayings from some "famous" guys and use these as the base to argue and explain something. This is deep in our culture. We need to learn how not to give a damn about it, otherwise we would live in the shadow of others. We should learn the reasoning and logic behind the sayings, and so when the context changes, the judgement is changed according.
Overall, I like the tune of this article, because it points out some of the root cause of our dev process.
