ITPUB上有人说功能好像被分割了，那个Companion谁知道是作甚么的？安装比9i快多了，但是Oracle吹嘘的那个Grid Control好像这个里面没有。。。

10g 和 8i 差不多大
9i 那么大是因为集成了 DB、AS 等

前几天在什么地方看到的，不知对否？

10g的客户端不能连8i的数据库了，郁闷

也不准确，其实基本上只要装数据库那张就够了，其他的还有客户端，高可用等等，其实就是把以前要装的一大堆东西分开了，我觉得挺好的，可以有选择

Does anyone know the license for the Oracle 10g?

I want to learn it, but I don't want to only can try 30 days or 60 days.

And what are advantages of the Oracle 10g comparing to 9i or 8i? I mean the performance of Oracle 10g is better? or the security of Oracle 10g is improved?
