Thanks, but I had this 000-513 downloaded for my friend already.

She needs 000-701: DB2 UDB V8.1 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows Database Administration
it's similar to 000-513, which is for V7.2; but there're a lot of new stuff in V8.1.

Hehe... my boss said the other day in the meeting that we need to be cross trained for mainframe db2, yuck, Tounge. I guess ibm invasion is on the horizon now. Confused

Indeed, my friend has just certified for OS/390 DBAdmin early this year
and now she was asked to cert for DB2 V8.1

My friend passed 701 with 90% without the SAMPLE questions.
She is going to take 703 two weeks later.

Another friend of mine also passed 701 spending one single day on IBM's tutorials and admin fastpath course ( http://www-3.ibm.com/software/data/education/selfstudy.html ), and of course, experience with other DBs.

Well, he did use TestKing 513 to final check his progress.
He said less than 10, likely 7 or 8 of the TestKing questions appeared on his test.

I should have taken advantage of the certification voucher offer in June... http://www-3.ibm.com/software/data/db2/skills/voucher.html Sad

I was asked to "upgrade" my OCP (1Z0-035) to 9i, and
also get certified for DB2 DBA/App Dev

Does anyone has the new DB2 Certification Guides ( http://www.cjsdn.com/post/view?bid=9&id=58139&sty=3#58139 )
and materials for 1Z0-035?Smile

DB2 v8的认证考试跟v7的题目相差很远吗？
我只有v7的一些资料。
DB2 v8我还没有用过。
另外，OCP 8i upgrade to 9i不是考1Z0－030吗？

v8 DBA 那个应该很易考得到，反正无人会查分数，只要及格就够。不过不愿意付钞啦！Sad
讨厌的是要考那个700，太简单容易，
昨天试IBM的sample test，第一次错4题，看看资料，第二次只错1题，
似乎懂database的基础和熟悉SQL的一定及格。
明天看一看DB2的product list，星期五就去考啦！Wink

听你这么说，700那个估计就是DB2 User考试，相当于v7的512考试。
Very Easy的，肯定没有问题。

v7的AD资料我找找看（AD可能比较少，DBA的比较多），然后再跟你联系。

700 和 701 都过了，因为准备不足(700 花了三个小时，701 用了两个晚上)，
成绩一般，不过 PASS 就成啦！
只是每次 US$120 的考试费实在 @#$%* Sad，幸好近日枫叶元的汇率不错

开始准备 703了，hwx 大侠提供的资料还不错，只可惜 Safari 上已有的 AD 书
还未有电子版，Chapters 也没有这本书哦。Sad

请问有没有大侠考过 704 (DB2 V8.1 Advanced Database Administration)？难度如何呢？
