在向Sun Java要求提供 中文文档 后，他是这样回复我的：（见最下）。

其实我对这个答复不太满意，因为已经有 日文 的文档，却没有中文的，我认为这是Sun 对中国和相关行业的轻视。但没有办法，还是得按规矩来，那就是到那个网址去投票，希望这个问题能得到Sun 的重视和最终的解决（能给我们提供中文的文档）。

靠大家了，都去投票好吗？我想我们应该得到中文的文档甚至是中文的Java 站点主页（这些都有日文版的--种族歧视？？）

The J2SE documentation is already provided in Japanese (see
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4/ja/docs/ja/), and there has been some
discussion about providing it in Chinese as well. I have created RFE
4977599 based on your message - the RFE should be visible at the Bug
Parade at
http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/bugParade/index.jshtml within a
few days. If you want to impress on Sun management how important this
is for Chinese developers, you can ask all your friends to vote for
this RFE.

我们这样投票是算什么？
为什么SUN公司的JAVA文档没有中文的而有日文的？
再看看Apache的开源项目，基本上都提供日文主页和日文文档。
看看JBuilder，对日文支持如何？对中文的支持又如何？有日文界面，有中文界面么？
再看看VC，等等等等
这些跟什么有关？难道还不能够引起大家的重视么？
不应该再计较一两个东西没有中文版本。
你通过这样的投票又能够起的什么样的效果？除了能够引起SUN公司一点点的重视。能够改变上面我所列举的情况么？

很多初学者喜欢发一些帖子，看上去倒是非常的谦虚：
我是出学者，各位能不能介绍一个开发工具，要中文版的。
能不能给点参考书最好是中文版的，最好是电子书！
等等等等。

你们看到有日本的开发者集体签名要SUN公司给出日文文档？要微软给出日文的VC了么？

是什么造就了这样的局面？！
是一个国家的软件业的发展！经济的发展！国力的强弱！！
还是好好的练好内功把，还没有到达能够影响别人意志的时候！！

没有用呀！谁让好点的中国程序员都让微软给挖走了！就算Sun很想出中文的文档，但是没有懂汉语的人的帮助，简直是异想天开！再说了，学好英文对一个程序员来说是必不可少的，因为我们不可能让国际上所有的文档都有中文版的，所以，这只会影响中国人的能力；由于翻译需要时间，等你看到中文版的文档时，可能这种技术快要落伍了吧！
所以，我并不太赞成全中文的java文档！因为这不现实，谁会愿意做？

IBM的中文文档，翻译的别扭极了，如参照英文的手册，颇费心思才能对上号。
还是看E文吧，看多了就习惯了。
