Unfortunately, using Date class in Java is not accurate. You should replace them with the System.currentTimeMillis() method instead.

Thus,
[cmd]
int beginTime = System.currentTimeMillis();
...
int endTime = System.currentTimeMillis();

long costTime = endTime - beginTime; // the metric is millisecond.
[/cmd]
