我看见大家推荐
核心技术2 、thinking in java、孙卫琴编写的 JAVA面向对象编程
都不适合初学者学习，这些书适合中级水平的读者学习！
我就亲身体会过，我就是初学者，我就看不懂！不知道其他初学者
能不能看懂这3本书？
核心技术2 内容非常丰富，涉及的知识相当多！
你们初学者可以试一试，看能不能明白作者写的东西！！！

初学者应该先找1本 非常简单的书 看1遍，先大概了解JAVA的基础！
然后再看几本 简单的书！明白基础之后再深入学习，直接看这3本书
等于浪费时间！

我想学习软件开发应该有两个方面：一个是关于程序的原理，设计，以及架构，这个和具体的程序语言无关。另一个就是学习某种具体的语言。如果你是刚刚开始学习程序设计的初学者，那么上面你提到的参考书的确太难了。你需要先学习一些更基础的东西，比如说数据结构什么的。如果你已经有一定的编程经验，想要学习Java这门语言的话，那么上面的书都是很不错的（孙卫琴的没有看过不知道）。

初学者确实看core java这样的会有问题,当然,对自己学习能力比较自信的可以看.
有本java参考大全的书,我觉得比较适合初学者看.

还有就是学习java一定要深入的去体会抽象和接口的方方面面.
当你觉得c++, java, c#只不过是一种对于抽象oo的实现,就可能有一点想法了.
这样对于以后的架构就可能举重若轻

3天前开始学习JAVA,我觉得JAVA TUTORIALS应该合适，比较浅显，你可以在以下链接阅读:

我开始就是学的Think in java . 觉得还可以.后来又多看了几遍就感觉没有什么了. 都是很基础的东西.

呵呵，其实只要认真看都是一样的。新手不过看慢一点！

你要真是什么都不懂的初学者，就直接去看孙鑫的视频，讲的细也讲得好，顺道连脑子里的中英文转换都免了~
