这里有没有女孩在工作中致力于用java开发的啊，女孩子适合搞开发吗，听说不容易，我是刚毕业的啊，准备这个月中要到一间公司实习，他们正要升级系统，对java的要求很高，但是我可是个超级新手，对于java很多都不懂，想请教一些在这方面的女同胞的心声啊，当然啦，要是男同胞有什么好建议，请你们也说一下啊，本人万分感激啊

我的公司里有四分之一左右的女孩子，而且是真正的写代码的那种，也和我们一样加班，个人感觉没什么问题，皮肤什么的都还不错。据说经验有，多喝水，多吃水果，有可能的话，尽量使用液晶显示器。没有问题的。

不行~~~女的干到可以干,但是干好的为数不多~

反正我们公司是这样,我们公司男女比例4.6比1

其实开发人员会更少点. 无论在技术上还是在发开效果上都不如男的~~

我一同事已经干了7年开发,女性,依然如故,没什么大的进展,技术上平平.

我老婆,干开发三年,一日,msn上,问我,他们部门要她写个存储过程,问我格式及一系列问题,我都告诉她了,她弄了一天,没弄好，我问她你们做的东西到底是什么,有例子吗,她说有，把例子发来我一看,居然是个包体的例子,原来要求写的根本不是存储函数,是个包~~~我当时晕倒~~~~~~~~

我觉得..现在程序员作为民工中比较高级的一种..对身体要求还是很高的..
女孩子多少还是有点难度的..另外从发展方面来说..女孩子做开发.也很难的

Marina Chen

Marina Chen is Professor and Chair of Computer Science Department. She serves on the Council of the Center for Computational Science at Boston University. She also represents Boston University as an affiliated site of of Center for Research on Parallel Computation (CRPC). She has been the President of Cooperating Systems Corporation since July 1993. Before that, she was an Associate Professor at Yale University, where she began as an Assistant Professor in 1983. She serves on various committees in the research community: Secretary of Association for Computing (ACM) July 1996 - 97 ACM SIGPLAN Executive Committee from 1992 to 1995, CRPC External Advisory Committee from 1989 to 1996, and High Performance Fortran Forum. She has been chairing conferences and served as program committee members for various conferences and workshops including (ACM SIGPLAN PPOPP '91 and '93, POPL '91 and '94, and PLDI'97). She is also associate editors for IEEE Transaction on Parallel and Distributed Systems and Journal of Programming Languages. She received her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from California Institute of Technology in 1983, and her B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University in 1978.

We cannot deny there exists a gender gap between men and women in computing. However, what should we do? Encourage ladies to enter the industry or discourage them? That is the question we need to think through.

In part as a result of our efforts, the entering enrollment of women in the undergraduate Computer Science program at Carnegie Mellon has risen from 8% in 1995 to 42% in 2000

I fixed the 2 broken links. One caused by missing one letter, another one caused by Jute put </blockquote> tag into the URL.
