什么情况下才需要创建webapplication呢？用jsp来做网站需要建立webapplication吗？

A WebApp describes the structure for a web application. It is essentially a directory tree containing web content used in your application. It maps to a ServletContext.

还是不很明白，因为我以前一直是做ASP的，现在转JSP，用JB，所以有点麻烦。

asp 里面也有application的概念呀，还是可以类比的。
