昨天我写了一封信问一个外国作者有关他书中的一些知识，当天他就回复了。由于我的英语水平不是很好，他回信的内容并没有完全理解。所以今天又写了一封关于确认信内容，以及说了对内容理解方面的问题。并且讲到和上面讨论到知识所实现出来的函数问题。但是他回信之后就写了
Forget the functions, use the ideas, that's the idea -- 然后就没有下文了。我英语不是非常好，就回了感谢的话。不知道这句该如何理解。是因为我的问题让他感到不耐烦了呢？还是他意思就是让我去理解他前一封信中所说的知识？
